These terms cover your use of DuelAPI (the website at api.duelapi.com, the REST API and the WebSocket API). By creating an API key, subscribing or buying credits you agree to them. If you don't agree, don't use the service.
1. What DuelAPI is
DuelAPI provides data about Duel.com: crash and castle roulette rounds, casino bets, rock-paper-scissors, public chat, the public leaderboard and sports odds. We collect it from publicly available sources. DuelAPI is independent and is not owned, operated or endorsed by Duel.com, and we don't act on its behalf.
2. API keys
- Your API key is how we identify you. Keep it secret and don't share it or publish it in client-side code; anyone with your key can use your credits.
- You can reset a key from the subscription page. We may suspend or revoke a key that is being abused or that breaks these terms.
- Free keys are limited to one per person. Creating several free keys to get around the limit isn't allowed.
3. Plans, credits and billing
- Each request costs credits, as listed in the documentation. Failed requests aren't charged.
- Paid plans renew automatically, monthly or yearly, until you cancel. You can cancel or change plan at any time in the billing portal ("Manage billing"). Cancelling takes effect at the end of the period you've paid for.
- Your plan's monthly credits refill every 30 days while the plan is paid up, including on yearly plans. Unused monthly credits don't roll over.
- Top-up credits are used after your monthly credits and expire 12 months after purchase.
- Credits have no cash value and can't be transferred or exchanged.
- Payments are processed by Stripe. Prices are shown on the pricing page and may change; a price change for an existing subscription applies from your next renewal, and we'll tell you before it does.
- Payments are non-refundable except where the law requires otherwise. If you bought a top-up and haven't used any of it, email us within 14 days and we'll refund it.
4. Fair use
You may use the data in your own apps, tools, bots, dashboards and research. You must not:
- resell or redistribute the raw data as a competing data feed or API;
- share one key between unrelated people or organisations;
- get around rate limits, credit metering or other limits, or scrape the website;
- try to access parts of the service you aren't meant to, or disrupt it;
- use the data to harass, track or target individual players;
- use the service in breach of the law where you are, including gambling laws.
5. The data
The data is provided "as is". We work to keep it accurate and up to date, but it comes from third-party sources and can be delayed, incomplete or wrong, and sources can change without notice. Uptime figures on the site are targets, not guarantees. Nothing in the service is gambling, financial or betting advice, and past results don't predict future ones. You're responsible for how you use the data.
The data includes usernames, bets and chat messages that Duel.com users made public on Duel.com. Treat them with care and respect those users' privacy; see the Privacy Policy.
6. Age
The service is for people aged 18 or over. Gambling carries risk; if it stops being fun, get support from an organisation such as BeGambleAware or Gamblers Anonymous.
7. Liability
To the extent the law allows, DuelAPI isn't liable for indirect or consequential losses, lost profits or losses from decisions made using the data. Our total liability to you for any claim is limited to what you paid us in the three months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits liability that can't be limited by law.
8. Ending service
You can stop using the service at any time. We may suspend or end access for anyone who breaks these terms, and we may change or discontinue features. If we discontinue a paid service, we'll refund the unused part of any prepaid period.
9. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. We'll change the date at the top, and for significant changes we'll give paying customers notice by email before they take effect. Continuing to use the service after that means you accept the new terms.
