Illustration

On the morning of September 25, xalx won 12 straight rock-paper-scissors matches in 68 minutes — across only 18 matches in four days of records. Six of the twelve came against the same opponent.

The streak started at 08:28:54 UTC against w7w7, eight rounds, 3–1. What followed: five more wins over w7w7, four over i_keep_trying, and two over mikki_mase — including a one-round dismissal at 09:31. At 09:36:21 the twelfth landed. One match later, i_keep_trying took the rematch 3–2 and it was over.

Bookended properly, too: the match right before the streak was a 0–3 loss to w7w7 at 08:22. Twelve wins, then the immediate rematch loss. Sixty-eight minutes, nothing wasted.
